Organize a Pink/Teal Shabbat and Bake Pink/Teal Challah

Host a Pink/Teal Shabbatsm in your community. In the spirit of Shabbat, organize a pink/teal challah baking party for you and your friends. We will provide the recipe!  Sell or share the challah with friends and family and include educational materials to raise awareness.

Coordinate an Event to Raise Awareness

Rally your friends and family to join you in fun activities such as bowl-a-thons, athletic events, walks or races, and fashion shows. Sharsheret can create an online fundraising page for your special activity and help you plan your big event.

Create and Sell Crafts, Cards, and More

Use your creative and artistic abilities to create and sell crafts such as jewelry, greeting cards, t-shirts, and hats. The proceeds you raise from your sales can be donated to Sharsheret in honor of your Bat/Bar Mitzvah.

The Busy Box features a starter kit of games and activities to occupy children while their mom is at the doctor or resting. The Best Face Forward Kit addresses the cosmetic side effects of cancer treatments and provides women with make-up and skincare products to make them feel special during a difficult time.

Send Tribute Cards

Sharsheret offers beautiful Tribute Cards that can be used to thank family members and special guests who have participated in your celebration. Consider purchasing Sharsheret Tribute Cards in lieu of ordinary thank you notes. Click here to order your Tribute Cards.

Give Tzedakah (Charity)

Giving Tzedakah, or charity, to others at a time when you are receiving so many special gifts can be very meaningful. In lieu of centerpieces, make a donation to Sharsheret and include a card on the table about your gift.

Participate In a Glass Ribbon Project

Create fused glass mosaics to adorn beautiful pieces of handcrafted Judaica or Strength Stones to be sold in stores across the country or share with someone special in your life. A portion of every sale from the project is donated to Sharsheret. The Glass Ribbon Project is designed by artist Gary Rosenthal Visit www.glassribbon.com  to learn more.
