Speaker: Sharsheret’s Clinical Supervisor Shera Dubitsky, MEd, MA
Some of you have shared thoughts about planning for the future, including:
When you were first diagnosed, you most probably didn’t make plans. You weren’t sure what the future would bring. Now that you’ve had time to process the diagnoses, you may test the waters a little more.
Make realistic plans around your current scans or treatments – you don’t know the future. Plan A can change into Plan B. Don’t have an all or nothing mentality – be creative. Work around your personal mobility. You are already living your life without knowing your future. You have the tools. After all, you already made it to this day.
