Andrew Leder

My mother, Marilyn Leder, at the age of 49 passed away from breast cancer.  I remember how brave she was during her battle with this terrible disease.   Competing as part of Team Sharsheret will be a great way to honor and remember my mother, and all the other brave people fighting cancer.  

Over the past years I have competed in many races. In 2011, I also competed in the Toughman Half Ironman in Westchester.  Last year, I finished my 8th consecutive NYC Triathlon.  This fall, I raced in the ING NYC Marathon, my 11th marathon, and I already have my entry slot for the 2012 ING NYC Marathon.

Please support me in reaching my fundraising goal of $2,500 and in finishing the 2012  NYC Half Marathon as part of Team Sharsheret.  This challenge is in memory of my mother, Marilyn Leder, and all other cancer patients around the globe battling cancer.  Thank you so much and hope to see everyone out in the city on March 18th.
