I have been running 3 miles 3 times a week for the past 6 years pretty consistently. All this time I have been doing it for health reasons, energy and weight maintenance.

This September I will be turning 40 and I felt it was time for a change and a challenge. So, I figured I would try to set a goal for myself - something meaningful with a purpose.  My husband, Rob  and I have been supporters of Sharsheret for many years and I thought it would be great to be able to join Team Sharsheret for my first half-marathon and raise awareness about the organization and such an amazing cause. Please support me in my personal goal to run the NYC Half-Marathon as part of Team Sharsheret, and support Sharsheret and the 11 national programs they offer to women and families diagnosed with breast cancer and ovarian cancer.
