Gavriel Bellino

I am thrilled to join Team Sharsheret for the 2012 New York Half Marathon. I have been deeply inspired by the hard work and graceful dedication of Sharsheret’s founder, Rochelle Shoretz.

Health awareness particularly within the Jewish community, has become of great concern to me. My congregation, the Sixteenth Street Synagogue located in the Union Square neighborhood of Manhattan has been particularly supportive of Sharsheret. We have taken the initiative to raise awareness about breast cancer and ovarian cancer within our community.  When I am not rabbi-ing, I like to box, and jog through  the streets of Teaneck and Manhattan.  

As I am now running on behalf of Sharsheret, please help me in my efforts by making a donation so that they can continue to make a difference within the Jewish community and support the women and families who call Sharsheret.
