Breast Cancer And The Mikvah

Please join us on Sunday, January 29th at 11:00 am as Melissa K. Rosen, Sharsheret’s Director of National Outreach educates mikvah attendants at Mikvah Chaim of Ohev Sholom, The National Synagogue, in Washington, DC, on the how to best meet the needs of women with breast or ovarian attending the mikvah, or ritual bath.

Breast cancer affects all aspects of a woman’s life, including the physical, emotional and spiritual. Mikvah attendants can greatly enhance the mikvah experience for these women, during a very difficult time, by increasing their level of understanding and preparedness.
