Team Sharsheret Race for the Cure

Sharsheret will join thousands of women and men gathering in New York City's Central Park to participate in Susan G. Komen for the Cure's Race for the Cure, a monumental breast cancer fundraising and awareness event. Team Sharsheret will meet at 8:30 a.m. on Race Day on the northeast corner of 74th Street and Central Park West for a Team Sharsheret photo. Panelists include Sharsheret Clinical Supervisor Shera Dubitsky, MEd, MA, Northwestern University Gynecologic Oncologist Diljeet K. Singh, MD, DRPH, The Ovarian Cancer National Alliance Vice President of Policy and External Affairs Cara Tennenbaum, Bright Pink National Programs Manager Sarah Halberstadt, and The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition Volunteer and Cancer Fighter Niki Quasney. Celebrate Sharsheret's 10-Year Anniversary at our Jewelbilation Gala, Sunday, October 10th, 2010 at a private venue in New York City. Join us in celebrating this special milestone as we recognize our Sharsheret Jewels, major gifts established in honor and in memory of loved ones in support of our 10 national programs. The event will feature "Sharsheret, Changing the Face of Breast Cancer," a photo exhibit by acclaimed photographer Gail Hadani, live music and dancing with "The Kootz" Band, and a performance by singer-songwriter and cancer survivor Zacharia. Help us mark 10 years of Sharsheret's critical services to Jewish women, their families, and communities nationwide.
