Pure Yoga is hosting a Vinyasa Yoga class to benefit Sharsheret. Vinyasa is characterized by flowing poses and sequences that are linked to the breath. The Vinyasa Flow class will focus in a gentle, but deep approach to yoga. This practice links poses to breath to reveal body awareness, inner strength, and opening.  Andrea Borrero is the managing teacher at Pure Yoga West. Andrea's philosophy and flow an assimilation of anatomical knowledge, spiritual intention, meditation, and focused breath. An avid runner and kick-boxer, she loves the honesty found in simply moving and sweating.

Yeshiva University/Stern College For Women’s Sharsheret Club will host its 5th Annual YU Cake Wars competition. Teams will compete to decorate cakes within a half an hour and will judged by a panel of expert food judges.  In the past, the event has brought in over 400 students and has been called "one of the best events of the year" and "a co-ed event not to be missed."  All proceeds benefit Sharsheret.  For more information, please contact Rachel Mirsky at mirsky.rachel@gmail.com.
