Spread The Word

Make family, friends, and colleagues aware of Sharsheret.  Inform those fighting breast cancer or at high risk of developing breast cancer about our Link Program and the services we offer nationwide.  Encourage survivors to join us as Sharsheret Links. Distribute Sharsheret brochures to doctors' offices, hospitals, cancer centers, breast cancer organizations, women's organizations, Jewish organizations, community centers, and wigmakers in your area.

Make Headlines

Contact your local newspaper, TV, and radio station and pitch a story about Sharsheret. Sharsheret representatives and volunteers in your area can be interviewed about the unique issues affecting young women and Jewish women living with breast cancer.

Walk With Us

Your community may host national or local walks, runs, and marathons for breast cancer.  Create a local Sharsheret team by inviting friends, family members, and colleagues to join you.  We will provide a free T-shirt for your team leader.  All other members of your team can purchase Sharsheret T-shirts, with proceeds to benefit Sharsheret.

Share Your Skills

Bring your special skills to our attention.  Sharsheret is always looking for assistance in data entry, graphic artistry, fundraising, and public relations.  We are eager to work with you to incorporate your skills into our projects and programs.

Enhance Events

Consider Sharsheret speakers when planning conferences or lectures. Our representatives have addressed a range of topics at events across the country, including breast cancer and the Jewish woman, breast cancer genetics and the Jewish woman, facing breast cancer as a young woman, and culturally sensitive community outreach.  Inform us of health or community events in your area at which we could distribute Sharsheret brochures.

Your place of employment can be a great source for raising funds in support of Sharsheret.  Talk to your company about becoming a corporate sponsor of our education and outreach events.  Help us determine if your company has a corporate giving or foundation program that may benefit Sharsheret.
