Alpha Epsilon Phi is partnering with Sharsheret  on the weekend prior to AEPhi Founders’ Day, October 24, 2016, as a way to celebrate AEPhi’s 107th birthday.  October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and our hope is that, from Atlantic to Pacific, sisters take time to celebrate either Friday night or Saturday (October 21st and 22nd) and mark Founder’s Day with an AEPhi/Sharsheret Pink Shabbat event.

The Sharsheret Supports Circle meets to offer support to women in the St. Louis Jewish community who have been diagnosed with breast or ovarian cancer and are anywhere along their treatment path – before, during, or post treatment.  These casual get-togethers are designed to encourage connections with peers, health professionals and resources.  At each session, there will be an opportunity to share and connect with other program participants.  Led by licensed social worker Kathy Bearman, this group meets from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Light kosher dinner served.
