The Phi Theta chapter will be sharing information about Sharsheret to educate the students about breast and ovarian cancer. Lookout for the AEPhi/Sharsheret table on campus.

This seminar discusses many of the issues that may arise, from emotional to halakhic, and how best to offer support, with the help of Sharsheret. The Sharsheret Supports Circle meets to offer support to women in the St. Louis Jewish community who have been diagnosed with breast or ovarian cancer and are anywhere along their treatment path – before, during, or post treatment.  These casual get-togethers are designed to encourage connections with peers, health professionals and resources.  At each session, there will be an opportunity to share and connect with other program participants.  Led by licensed social worker Kathy Bearman, this group meets from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Light kosher dinner served.
