Like many who came in contact with Sharsheret founder, Rochelle Shoretz, after just a single meeting Deb found herself a committed volunteer - launching the Sharsheret Young Professionals Circle, advising on the Regional Structure Committee (resulting in the founding of the first satellite Sharsheret office in Florida), fundraising as a Team Sharsheret athlete, exhibiting at conferences and participating in focus groups. She is humbled to celebrate the memory of her wonderful, larger-than-life mother, Barbara Schreier, with this award. Deb will forever be grateful to Rochelle for all that Sharsheret brings to the world and for the countless memories they shared. When not volunteering for Sharsheret, Deb is a seasoned non-profit professional residing in New York City.
