Honor Your Loved Ones At Sharsheret’s Annual Benefit Luncheon and Raffle Drawing

Teaneck, New Jersey (April 11, 2008) – Sharsheret, a national not-for-profit organization supporting Jewish women facing breast cancer, will honor the mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends who have touched the lives of breast cancer survivors at its sixth Annual Benefit Luncheon: Honor Your Loved Ones, to be held on Sunday, May 18th. The event will attract more than 400 guests to the Teaneck Marriott at Glenpointe in Teaneck, New Jersey.

Sharsheret will recognize the strong dedication and valuable contributions of Guest of Honor, Rifky Atkin (of Edison, NJ) and Sirena Silber (of Scarsdale, NY), recipient of the Lisa Altman Volunteer Tribute Award. Benefit Chairs this year include Joyce Austein (of Lawrence, NY), Sharon Herenstein and Alissa Zagha (both of Teaneck, NJ).
The Benefit Luncheon will feature a silent auction event and a Raffle drawing featuring luxurious jewelry and airline tickets.

Sharsheret will introduce new resources and programs supporting young Jewish women facing breast cancer nationwide. “We look forward to honoring those whose continuous support and dedication have enabled Sharsheret to grow from a handful of volunteers into a strong national organization,” said Executive Director Eillene Leistner.
