Include Sharsheret In Your Bat Mitzvah Celebration
Include Sharsheret in your celebration by choosing a Sharsheret Bat Mitzvah Project. Many young women preparing for their Bat Mitzvah find it meaningful to initiate a Mitzvah project, contributing to the community and helping others as they become a young adult. Project ideas include organizing toy drives or make-up collections to enhance Sharsheret’s Busy Box or Best Face Forward programs, creating and selling crafts such as jewelry or hats and donating the proceeds to Sharsheret, or setting aside time to volunteer at Sharsheret's office headquarters. You may also consider purchasing Sharsheret Tribute Cards for the Bat Mitzvah in lieu of ordinary thank you notes, or asking guests to make a charitable contribution to Sharsheret instead of, or in addition to, their gifts to the Bat Mitzvah.

Share Your Bridal Shower With Sharsheret
Including Sharsheret in a bridal shower can be a meaningful way for brides to celebrate with family and friends. You may arrange for guests to drop small games or toys for young children into the bride's wishing well. In turn, Sharsheret will include these gifts in the Busy Boxes we distribute to parents facing breast cancer. You may also consider purchasing Sharsheret Tribute Cards for the bride in lieu of ordinary thank you notes, or asking guests to make a charitable contribution to Sharsheret instead of, or in addition to, their shower gifts to the bride.
Bridal showers are also excellent opportunities to raise awareness about breast health and the importance of breast self-examinations. With gratitude for your inclusion of Sharsheret in your celebration, we would be pleased to provide each guest at the shower with a breast health packet and breast self-examination card, courtesy of Sharsheret.

Establish A Jewel In Sharsheret’s Chain Of Support
In honor or in memory of your loved one, you may now establish a Jewel in Sharsheret’s chain of support with a minimum contribution of $1,000. Jewels can be established to honor or remember a loved one, commemorate a special occasion, or to involve family members in giving together. Friends and family members will work closely with Sharsheret to identify a meaningful program that will be supported by your special gift. Jewels will be acknowledged with a letter announcing the special gift, the person in whose honor the gift was made, and the Sharsheret program the gift will support. Friends and family members can be invited to enhance a Jewel with their own contributions.

Celebrate a birthday, holiday, anniversary, wedding, send thanks, or remember friends and family with a gift to Sharsheret.
