DESCRIPTION:Join our Sharsheret Supports Partner\, JCC/Nishmah in St. Louis. Their Sharsheret Supports Group meets to offer support to women in the St. Louis Jewish community who have been diagnosed with breast or ovarian cancer and are anywhere along their treatment path – before\, during\, or post treatment. These sessions are facilitated by a licensed social worker and meets from 5:45 to 7:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month at the Jewish Community Center in Creve Coeur. Newcomers are always welcome and the program is open to the community. DESCRIPTION:Join Sharsheret Supports Partner\, the Breast Cancer Resource Center of the YWCA Princeton\, for ongoing meetups for patients and survivors of stage I\, II or III breast cancer. Monthly meetings will help participants cope with the immediate and long-term effects of breast cancer and its treatment. Discussions will focus on the issues of importance to those in the group\, and may include managing hair loss\, fatigue\, chemo-brain\, body image\, employment issues\, while also focusing on practical ways to move beyond breast cancer and return to wellness.
