SUMMARY:Sharsheret Support Group: Mindful Meditation for those Affected by Breast Cancer
DESCRIPTION:The Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Northern New Jersey\, in collaboration with Sharsheret\, is pleased to announce the creation of a new experiential support group for those impacted by breast cancer. The group will meet the third Wednesday of each month and a different topic we be addressed each session. This free group is open to anyone impacted by breast cancer\, from newly diagnosed\, in treatment\, to long-term survivors. This session will be taught by Suzanne Feldman-Levy\, an LSW\, teacher and practitioner of integrative somatic healing arts. Open to all. SUMMARY:Sharsheret Support Group
DESCRIPTION:Join our Sharsheret Supports Partner of Excellence\, JCC/Nishmah in St. Louis. Their Sharsheret Supports Group meets to offer support to women in the St. Louis Jewish community who have been diagnosed with breast or ovarian cancer and are anywhere along their treatment path – before\, during\, or post treatment. These casual get-togethers are designed to encourage connections with peers\, health professionals and additional resources. Led by licensed social worker Kathy Bearman\, this group meets from 5:45 to 7:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month at the Jewish Community Center in Creve Coeur. Newcomers are always welcome and is open to the community. Light kosher dinner will be served.
