Nina Capiro, MD

Nina Capiro, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Radiology in the Breast Imaging Section at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles. She is a recipient of a mentorship grant from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) as part of the Pragmatic Randomized Trial of Artificial Intelligence for Screening Mammography (PRISM). Her research focuses on patient-centered implementation of new breast imaging technologies, identifying strategies to reduce healthcare disparities, and optimizing high risk breast cancer screening.
