Managing Side Effects for Breast Cancer and Ovarian Cancer Through Treatment and Survivorship

Cancer treatments can take a lasting physical toll, impacting comfort, mobility, and daily life. This webinar will focus on common challenges faced by people during and after treatment for breast cancer and ovarian cancer including fatigue, pain, psychological challenges (like anxiety, depression, and PTSD), lymphedema, neuropathy, and pelvic floor challenges such as recurrent UTIs, urinary incontinence, urgency and frequency of urination, pain with urination, dyspareunia, vaginal atrophy, and defecatory dysfunction. City of Hope Orange County experts Dr. Seth Cohen, MD, FACS, Program Director, Reconstructive Urology and Survivorship Fellowship, and Dr. Diya Sandhu, Physiatrist, Department of Supportive Care Medicine, will explore practical, evidence-based strategies to manage these challenges and highlight how care strategies can improve physical wellbeing during and after treatment.
