An Engaging And Informative Summer Internship Experience
This has undoubtedly been a truly engaging and informative summer working at Sharsheret. As an intern, I was given the opportunity to work with many staff members on various projects, and I feel that I am concluding this internship with a very well-rounded array of experiences. I was welcomed from day one and given many opportunities to get involved in anything that sparked my curiosity, all while being challenged to take part in the creation and progression of new projects. As a graduate student obtaining a degree in social work, having the chance to work alongside so many other social work professionals was unique and offered constant reassurance as to why I began my journey in the field in the first place. Every single staff member working for Sharsheret has the best interests of the individuals whom they serve, in addition to their fellow colleagues and interns. This genuine passion lends way to the thoughtfulness and hard work that goes into their jobs each and everyday. I feel grateful to have been given the opportunity to work alongside such inspirational and passionate professionals who bring the incredible organization of Sharsheret to life. It has been such a pleasure; thank you again for this opportunity!
