Host a Sharsheret Teal/Pink Shabbat^® at your synagogue and help raise awareness about breast cancer and ovarian cancer within your community. Whether through a sermon, educational program, community gathering, or special Shabbat recognition, your congregation can play an important role in sharing life saving information and support. Sharsheret will provide our Teal/Pink Shabbat educational materials and resources to help make your program meaningful, impactful, and easy to organize.

Bring your community together for a Sharsheret Challah Bake and raise awareness in a fun and engaging way. Gather friends, family members, or congregants to bake challah. Sharsheret will provide our Challah Bake recipe cards, along with educational materials and resources to help participants connect with our mission.

Organize a toy drive in support of Sharsheret’s Busy Box® Program. Busy Boxes are designed to provide children with comforting activities and games while their mother is undergoing medical care or recovering from treatment. Each box also includes educational materials to help parents understand and talk about the impact of breast cancer and ovarian cancer on children.

Assemble and deliver comfort care packages for women undergoing treatment at local hospitals or breast centers. Each package can include Sharsheret informational materials along with thoughtful items such as fuzzy socks, reusable straws, tea, and other comforting essentials.

Collect makeup to support Sharsheret’s Best Face Forward® Program. The Best Face Forward kit is designed for women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer or ovarian cancer and are currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment. Each kit includes makeup products suitable for a range of skin tones, step-by-step application instructions, and helpful tips for managing hair loss and changes in skin tone.

Set up a Sharsheret fundraising page and use your B’nai Mitzvah or special celebration as an opportunity to give back. Giving tzedakah, or charity, during a time when you are receiving so many meaningful gifts can be especially powerful. Your support will help Sharsheret continue providing vital services to individuals and families.

Help spread the word about Sharsheret in your community, with local hospitals, medical professionals, synagogues, and Jewish Community Centers so that Sharsheret can help more women and families. Click here to order your educational resources and learn more.

Host a bake sale at your school, community, a local event. Sharsheret will provide educational materials to distribute alongside your baked goods, helping you share life saving information. Your bake sale will not only raise funds to support Sharsheret’s critical programs and services, but also help educate others and inspire meaningful conversations within your community.

The Pies for Prevention Bake Sale takes place each November in communities across the country, with all proceeds benefiting Sharsheret’s ovarian cancer programs. Join fellow bakers nationwide in the spirit of Thanksgiving by becoming a baker in your own community and helping raise awareness and support.

Start a competition, host a 3-on-3 tournament, create a walk, dress your team in Sharsheret pink, or any other idea you have. You will be raising critical awareness and saving lives!

Teach friends and family how to play Mah Jongg or host a Mah Jongg fundraiser to raise awareness and support for Sharsheret.
